Projects

Sky Generation's first wind turbine has been installed south of Ferndale, on the Bruce Peninsula. First power was produced on November 27, 2002. The turbine is a Vestas 1.8 MW V80, and will generate enough power to supply 500 homes.

Two new turbines were erected in 2006, with first power on Oct. 31st. The output from these turbines is sold to Bullfrog Power. The construction of these turbines was dependant on customers of Bullfrog making the choice to buy Green Power.

Sky Generation is considering sites at other areas along the lower Great Lakes for future development.
